2. Permission used: Camera permission;
Corresponding business: When scanning photo frame device QR code, taking pictures for upload or recording videos for upload;
Purpose of calling permissions: One way to bind photo frame devices is to scan the QR code on the photo frame device for binding; another usage scenario is after binding the photo frame, when the upload type is selected as "camera", directly take pictures for upload, which will be saved on the smartphone;
Timing of requesting permissions: Pop-up inquiry when using scanning or camera for the first time;
1. Information collected through email address/phone number verification login
You need to obtain a verification code through email address/phone number in Thomson Smart Photo Frame APP to log in. After successful login, the APP will collect your email address/phone number. Collecting email address/phone number information is for logging in to use the APP and protecting subsequent member rights binding. If you refuse to provide this information, you may not be able to register a Thomson Smart Photo Frame APP account normally, nor enjoy the exclusive services we provide based on email accounts.
2. Smart device binding function
Thomson Smart Photo Frame APP needs to bind with Thomson Smart Photo Frame smart hardware to realize the function of transmitting files (pictures, videos) from mobile phones to designated Thomson Smart Photo Frame smart hardware devices. There are mainly two ways to bind: one is to bind by scanning the device-side QR code with your phone, which prompts whether to allow us to use camera permissions. Refusing to use will prevent quick binding of Thomson Smart Photo Frame smart devices through QR code scanning; the other is that you need to fill in the device random code of the smart Thomson Smart Photo Frame for binding, which requires no special permissions. To implement this function, we need to obtain your network status, WiFi status information and other network status information.
3. Upload function
After you bind the Thomson Smart Photo Frame device, you can take pictures through the camera and upload them to the bound Thomson Smart Photo Frame device, which requires access to your camera and microphone permissions. You can also directly upload local photos/video files to the bound smart photo frame by accessing your phone's albums and media materials, which requires access to your media library and album information. The successfully uploaded files will be temporarily stored on our server. After the Thomson Smart Photo Frame device downloads successfully, we will delete the uploaded file information. Before that, unless you actively choose or comply with relevant laws and regulations, we will not provide the above information to external parties or use it for purposes other than this function. If you do not enable the corresponding permissions, you will not be able to use the upload function;
The Thomson Smart Photo Frame device is a playback and display platform. The Thomson Smart Photo Frame will not have any resource files built into local storage, and will not be used commercially without copyright authorization from the resource owner. If users upload pictures/short videos or import music resources to the bound Thomson Smart Photo Frame device for commercial playback and display, all illegal copyright behaviors caused by this operation have nothing to do with the Thomson Smart Photo Frame device and the supporting Thomson Smart Photo Frame APP.
4. History records
After binding the photo frame, when you use the upload function, your upload history records of photos/videos and other information will be stored on our server. Because storage is necessary to implement this function, storage permissions need to be enabled. We will store them in an encrypted manner, and you can delete this information at any time. Unless you actively choose or comply with relevant laws and regulations, we will not provide the above information to external parties or use it for purposes other than this function.
5. Device permission calls
ACCESS_CAMERA: Photo taking permission, taking photos through camera or recording short videos, sending to bound Thomson Smart Photo Frame devices;
ACCESS_FLASHLIGHT: Permission to use flashlight, in special scenarios such as at night, when selecting camera shooting upload in the upload function, shooting needs to turn on the flashlight;
ACCESS_WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE: Permission to read and write external storage cards, in the upload pictures/videos function, need to read phone internal media files and album files, need to store photos or short videos after taking pictures;
ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: Detect network connection method, avoid data transmission under abnormal network conditions, save traffic and battery;
When we want to use information for other purposes not stated in this policy, we will seek your consent in advance. When we want to use information collected for specific purposes for other purposes, we will seek your consent in advance. If you need to withdraw consent permissions, you can turn off corresponding permissions through phone settings - Thomson Smart Photo Frame APP application.
According to relevant laws and regulations, collecting your personal information in the following circumstances does not require your authorized consent:

1. Cancellation process
Log in to the APP, after entering the application, there is a "Cancel Account" button at the bottom of the personal center interface. After clicking, the account will be cancelled. After cancellation, there may be consequences and related risk reminders. Click the "Cancel Account" button again, and a secondary confirmation popup will appear. Clicking the "Cancel" button will not cancel the account, and clicking the "Confirm" button will cancel the current account. After confirming account cancellation, you will exit the current login state and return to the main interface of the application.
2. Cancellation instructions
After you cancel your account, we will stop providing products or services to you. Content, information, data, records, etc. under that account will be deleted or anonymized (except as otherwise provided by laws and regulations or required by regulatory authorities). At the same time, once account cancellation is completed, you will not be able to log in and will need to re-register before logging in.
For security reasons, you may need to provide written requests or prove your identity in other ways. We may ask you to verify your identity first before processing your request. We will respond within fifteen days.
In the following circumstances, according to legal and regulatory requirements, we will be unable to respond to your request:
1. Directly related to national security and national defense security;
2. Directly related to public security, public health, and major public interests;
3. Directly related to criminal investigation, prosecution, trial and judgment execution;

Our products, websites and services are primarily aimed at adults. Children cannot create their own user accounts without parental or guardian consent.
